I heard 101 a longgggggg time ago when they first came out. That didnt sound right so I called my buddy who is a Subaru guy and he said 165.

Sport Compact Car Magazine says 168hp stock at the wheels. When Im driven my wrx it feels like more :cool:

You guys get sooo ripped over there....... My stocker has almost 270hp at the crank...... and being conservative I would think it to be close to the 190hp at all 4......

keep in mind that the drivetrain loss of awd is much higher than fwd or rwd.
it doesn't mean that you've got less to work with, but it takes more power to spin all four instead of just 2.
