12/97 pontiac relearn difficulty

relearn on 12/97 pontiac grandam se theftsys will not complete. abs mil flashes continusly.theft mil will not flash as alldata describes.:banghead: any help or comments will be helpfull the vehicle will start then stall untill I went to data stream on my scantool then tryed starting and it didnt stall disconected the scan tool would not run until scantool was hooked up.
