Just Started Missing and Running rough

I have a 2000 LS, V8 sport package, and only 65k miles. The car is starting to really get in my pocket now! Just spent $800 a few days ago to replace front wheel spindle. Not to mention other out of pocket money since I had it.

I need some help on something that occured with it on my way to work this morning. I trumped down on the accelerated to make a pass and then when I stopped at the light I noticed it running very bad. It doesn't sound smooth at all. Has anyone ran into this problem? I would like to get some info here before letting a service dealer get in my pocket again.

This is a very common symptom for the 2000-2001 LS. Search this forum for keyword "coil" or "valve cover gasket" and you'll find plenty of details, information, and suggestions.
