Picking on the weak

well lets start em up. this thread is for the topic of picking on the weak and that only! this isnt a thread for more discussions due to carlaw.

Picking on what would normally be a slower car than you should be considered a waste of time, effort, fuel and not worth the risk.

Adendum 1 - If you have reason to believe otherwise that a normally slow vehicle has been modified in true sleeper fashion then you may proceed with caution and at your own risk.

Adendum 1a - If said sleeper car does turn out to be nothing but a stock vehicle but looks fast, then by no means do you ever consider it a kill.

Adendum 1b - Unless driver of said car is a douche bag and thinks he's fast then you're in the right to show him where he stands in the food chain.

Are we talking about accepting a race with a weaker car?
or are we talking about actively chasing down and asking weak cars for a run?

See I like racing anything. I find it that weaker cars are often more willing to race you then the obviously faster groups. Im not a bully, I try to even it out by giving lengths of short shifting at 4K but I will race anyone in anything.

another thing is YES, there are idiots out there who trully believe a 89hp tercell will smoke a GTO! In that case I will admit, I dont care if it is an obliteration, I will slap em around and make em my bitch!

Oh and one more thing. I never EVER race a Kia or a Deawoo! I dont care if it is in fact fast and maddly tuned! I dont care if the thing really does run 9's! those things dont impress me because with enough money and enough fabrication anything, even a Rio, can be made to run 9's or 8's or whatever. You guys remember when Clarkson bought that little Korean car and then trashed it in front of the dealer claiming that car had no soul! Yeah thats what a Kia and a Deawoo are to me! they are cars made purely to sell and not to thrill so NO, I dont acknolage them as real cars and therefore I will never race one!

you know, i said something similar in another thread about a guy in a mustang who beat a riced out civic and posted about it. when i said "who really cares" i caught a rash of shit from everyone else. the stig says it and everyone wants to sing his praises. go figure.

What I mean by all the adendums and such is this...

If you're cruising along in your GTO and you see a Civic as bone stock as they come. You'd be the bully to pick on him because it's a very lopsided race.

If the Civic has what sounds like I/H/E or maybe turbooOoz sounds. Then it maybe a sleeper and proceed with caution. If it is a sleeper Civic and is fast and you Win, tell us about it.

If it's a douche bag with a electronic blowoff valve out of a JC Whitney catalogue so it sounds like he's got mad turbo skillz! And it infact is just a Hand-me-down-moms old civic with a K-Mart exhaust and a CostCo shipping pallet wing and OEM spec performance... then Yeah... you can't call that a kill.

Now, if the dude is racing through traffic, pulls up next to you and is all bumping 50 cent on his APC Xplode speakers from PepBoys with his pastey white arm hanging out the window yellin "Yo B!... Lez do dis aighght??" while you're sipping your Sobe Tea at a red light. Then you've got every right in the world to put him to shame.

Is it a kill? That's debatable... but I'd say this would be at the users discretion.

Why not just be ALL RACE 100% of the time and ignore ricers because you're always gonna be ahead of them? Don't accept the challenge at all, just drive away, they can't catch you so it won't matter.

because not all cars you may think is just a slow ricer, is.

if you have reason to beleive the car may be modded and want to see if you may have encountered a sleeper..then do so.
otherwise if it is really obvious its just rice, then no need to waste your gas

Who says we DO NOT pic on cars that are obviously slower then us UNLESS they start shit with us first.
