V6 to V8 ????

I friend of mine is looking at a 86 mustang with a 3.8 V6 and is woundering if a V8 will bolt up to the K-member or will he have to switch to a 4-V8 k-member. I know that a v-8 will not bolt up to a stright 6 but i am not sure about the V6. Any Ideas???

Dont hold me to it but I think you will have to go to a 4cyl or 5.0 k-member.

the V6 K-member will work.
