well i want to boost my engine but stay carb legal i am thinking sc what do you all think? i know the jackson racing supercharger is carb legal so it was at the top of my list. thanks

yeah debating it b/c i mean i can make power out of the crx but the domestics get so much more leniency on smog and such

i know 3 guys with jrsc's and all of them have broke. but they were used hard, redlining and racing everynight

you could always go with the greddy turbo kit...sure its a weenie turbo and only spools 6.5 or so, but its carb legal and you can always crank the boost up ;)

That's the route I'm going on my D16y8. I'm only planning on running 5-7psi anyways, so 6.5 would do it for me. Just want some extra kick outta my d-series.

Greddy turob is good and popular for your sohc ppl out there. Not expensive either!:)

Greddy Sohc turbo...best bang for the buck...much better than the jackson racing supercharger. The supercharger seems to always have problems with heat soak and also equipment reliability. Plus you will make more power with the turbo.

They dont have a greddy kit for our cars. You can do the 92-95 civic one but im not sure if it would still be carb legal cause i heard the lil black box with the carb # on it is not used if we use it on a 4th gen.

88CiViC_DX is right just because it is carb legal on one car doesn't make it carb legal on another car
