what do ya'll think of power acoustiks? they are cheap and have good power ratings and dB ratings, but are they reliable or what? imputs?

From what I have seen Power Acoustiks kind of suck. They tend to overrate there stuff a lot like the Xplods by Sony. I would keep searching unless your just looking for a little extra bass with not a whole lot of clarity.
If you are on a tighter budget but still want some kick go with the new 12" Kenwoods. They just came out. I can not think of the model off of the top of my head but they are the best bang for the buck IMO.

It's just not the thing you need for road soundtripping! You better look through online catalog for more options.

you can look thru online catalogs all day, but they don't HONESTLY rate their products - they just sell them. That's why people go online to stereo bulletin boards, I don't sell anything so I give an honest opinion based on what I have seen/heard.
