Intake repair question

On the intake coolant leak repair issue; does the repair last or does the issue keep happening at some interval of years or 60K to 70K miles??
Any repeat repairs out there??

Just had mine done on my 1996. Garage said new gasket should outlast the vehicle. It is a felpro gasket, not OEM. It is thicker and seals better. The old one that was in there was OEM and the mechanic said it looked less than 6 months old! He wasn't sure the new one would seal because whoever changed the last one, wheel brushed the intake clean, which you are not supposed to do. 3 weeks now and no leaks. Mechanic said it should be fine! I hope so!!
