04 Denali Nav system reset

Just purchased an 04 Denali. It is loaded with the previous owners Navagation waypoints and other information. The vehicle has no Nav system handbooks. Is there anyway to totally reset the Nav system and start up with a clean memory?
Any help would be appreciated, its driving me crazy!

I don't think you can reset the nav. You just need to erase the old POI's and add your new ones. Also as you add new destinations it erases the oldest ones. You can only have so many last destinations in the memory. Good luck.
