Sorry-
Its an older kit of a 1986 Mazda RX-7. The kit itself has been fun to work with and I have had no fit problems intill I tried putting the body onto the base, thats when I found out the dash is lopsided.

Is it that one side is higher than the other, or that one side is too far forward?

Give them a break, it's a kit from the 80's, what do you expect?
And it was originally design to be motorize.

Time for you guys to get out the sand paper and start shaving plastic!:finger:

I built it many years ago and i dont recal any issue with the dash. Check around the model to see it something is pressing against the dash to cause the problem - you may have to perform surgery!
