Problem w/ exhaust?

As many of you know, I got a flowmaster 80 series FLO-42583 or whatever it is with single 2.5 in and dual 2.5 out. My problem is that it seems a lot, lot quieter now than it was before. Either I'm just getting used to the sound, or something is going on (is it even possible for there to be something causing it to get quieter?).

I noticed it about a week or two ago, and it was incredibly apparent when an impreza wrx STI and I got in a revving match before I quickly turned the opposite direction that he was going :p

Mine mellowed out after about 1000miles then it just recently has got louder :dunno:

Maybe your converter is pluging up ...
Could just be exhaust residue building up in the muffler, which cant be avoided, due to excesss moisture in the exhaust because you drive alot of short trips.

pretty much all short trips... aobut 2 miles to class every day and 2 miles back. I'll be making a 4 or 5 hour drive soon though... longest drive I've made in this car since the beginning of January... that might straighten it out?

yea residue stuff... not cool

leaky water exhaust =), mine does it sometimes but I drive pretty good distance to work... good enough to keep it really hot and evap'd inside

I was in Akron , and this Indian MF wouldnt sell me/us beer with an out of state ID :angryfire
I thought is was Odd that a gas station was selling "cold" beer :naughty:

We just asked this truck driver to buy it for us:sly:
