SOHC motor with ram air intake, no exhaust yet. are all these motors very slow on take off?? and i have noticed it does run pretty fast when it gets momentum.

yeah they are slow off the line, they have no torque. And if by ram air intake you mean a short ram intake, that will make it even worse.

also would it be a better option to supercharge, i found a guy selling a jackson supercharger for d series engine (whole kit) for 850.

A short ram will hurt your low end power because they are made for optimum high rpm power. Basically you're shifting your powerband into the higher rpms. So while you're gaining high rpm power, you're trading off for less power at lower rpms. Similarly, most aftermarket intake manifolds have shorter fatter runners, because they're made for high rpm power. So while a company advertises hp gains, they only refer to top output power. And most cars (especially daily drivers) don't see that high of an rpm most of the time.

With a supercharger you're only going to get so far. It will do what you want it to do, and instant boost of power right from a stop. But the engine you have now is pretty weak and isn't going to take a ton of abuse for too long (could last a few months, could last for a few years). Stock engine internals aren't ment to handle that kind of power, especially the rods and more specifically the rod bolts. Honestly your best bet is to save your $ and buy do an engine swap.

Timing could be off
Carbuerator could need cleaning
Air filter is dirty
Fuel injector is dirty(if you have one)
Didn't let it warm up enough if it's old and it's cold out(that's why mine does the same thing)
