97 Sonoma Clutch question

Hi ,
I got a 97 sonoma 4cyl. 5speed. My question is...how do you get the master cylinder to clutch slave hose off without snapping it? Or atleast how do ya get it off the slave? Aslo is there a special place to go if you do snap it off to get a new one? Some people tell me to buy a new clutch master cylinder and the hose comes with it. But i dont need the new master cant i get just the hose?
