cap question

hi, i was looking at caps. i might get something like this. http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2633
now my thing is this. i want to put it underneath my back seat ( it's a sedan) and i was wondering if that would be out. ( mostly dealing with heat.) cause if i can't do it there i was thinking of getting 2 knu Koncept compact ones.
and i don't want to here caps are useless pos. ok

JK id get the knuconceptz ones. The audiobahn is a shiny hunk of crap. Id love to see it handle the voltage from 12k watts.

caps are useless for SPL .... why do you think all of the heavy hitters took them out after the first season they came out with them (early 90's). On a lighter note, most of the caps are rated at 100+ C (212F), They need no "airflow" and can be mounted in the engine compartment as well.

i have 0 guage big three.
0 guage power for my amp.
and i finally ordered my 200 amp Excessive Amperage Alt this afternoon.
yellow top is coming in 2 weeks when i get paid
and thats for 2 type r 12"
one thing, if i do get the knukoncept ones i was thinking of having each amp have's it own. ( i have 2. 1 for subs 1 for speakers) and would i be able to do that if i wire in the cap after the distrubation block.

you can't really connect one to each amp, they will all be on the same power line

I think he was referring to the path of each seperate amp. Which you are right wouldnt make a difference but it would make it slightly easier to connect 2 of them.

ok new question. if i wanted to add a second battery in so when i listen to it when i like wash the car or something like that when the car is off. how would i go about that. and what would i need besides wire and a battery + a battery terminal

You can isolate the second batter or run them both by just running wire from + to +.
