Ok, this is gonna be long as I want to describe my problem as best as I can. BAckground on the van, its a 1993, 1 owner, all routnine maintenance was done from the time they got the van ( I seen proof). Has 89000 miles on it. Great condition inside and out. You can tell it was very well taken care of. Ok, so we got the van, drove it home ( approx 30 miles) had no problems. After driving it for a few days I drove approx 5 city blocks, turned the van off, picked up something from a porch, and when I went to start it, the first time it made that noise you get if you try to start a car already started. When I tried again it would not turn over till I gave it gas. Ok then I drove it for a few more days with no problems. Went to the drug store about 8 blocks away, when I went to leave, it just clicked. YOu could hear it, but it was like thre was no electricity getting to the starter. i waited a few minutes ( actually I was praying to God because I had my 2 young daughters with me and we had a blizzard just starting and we were not dressed to walk home) and it started. Ok drove it another week. Ran around yesterday, to a few different stores, started just fine. Then today I went out and started it let it run for a bit, then went to leave, rememberd somethign I needed, turned it off, ran in the house and back out, and click click again. I waitied and hour, just tried it again and its click click. Help. Is it my starter? Maybe a loose connection? Please let it be something simple. Ive only had this van 3 weeks and Ive needed it for almost 5 years!
