1998 Chevrolet Lumina 4 door sedan. Base model.

I would like to replace the fuel filter. Any help is appreciated.

I have no idea where it is or what tools are needed.

Thank you.

It's under the car, forward of the right rear wheel.

I can't remember if it's going to have plastic clips on one or both ends.

There is a tool for removing the clips, but I've always been able to do them by just pushing the line inward toward the filter, squeezing the end of the clip with my fingers. They are inside the end of the line, when you squeeze it, it disengages from the line and then you can pull the line off....

Some use a threaded line on one end also, you'll need a pair of wrenches, one will need to be a line wrench of the correct size, unless you can just use a pair of vice grips or something...

I think this is what yours is going to use, you see the clip and the threaded side...my memory wants to say I used a 3/4" open end and a 5/8" line wrench on it, but it's been a while...
