if i want to change my cluster for my 91 hatch to one that has the rpm guage do i have to add a new wire or anything????

No, its plug and play. Just make sure you get the correct corresponding year cluster, the 88-89 is different than the 90-91.

Yep, just make sure you have the right year. I know alot of the 4drs came with tachs in the clusters for some reason.

Yeah most 4 door LX and EX sedans got the tach. I'm pretty sure most DX's didnt have em. Also, try to not get the CRX HF cluster, unless you want to be looking at a 5500 rpms redline.
