Custom chopper

Here are some pics of a chopper I built for a friend of mine as a christmas present. Added some PE parts on the plate and over the air filter and wires etc (although they are most likely not run right as i have not seen a true chopper like this up close). I used the fact the Tamiya infamous TE-13 clear eats through top coats to make the black over red worn looking. Also are some pics of my phone that i covered in SMS highdef carbon fiber and some CM ferrari decals. Hope you all like it.

I am confused what you said about the TS-13 though? Did it eat the apint and that is how you got the look?

Phone is freaking awesome! How do you plan on not scratching the decals off though? Lots of clear or what?

Bad-Ass wallpaper too! I love how the challenge stripe goes all the way around it.

I was thinking about doing that to my phone as well... well just the CF..but I was scared about the clear rubbing off.

I didnt get the overall look like that (for that i airbrushed black over red) but if you look at the raised points like on the belt cover you can see the red seeping through making it kinda worn looking to get THAT effect i used the ts-13 pretty heavy so that it would do its thing.

I used two part automotive clear on the phone and it has held up really well great finish but the stuff is sooooo bad terrible chemicals i think the only thing that would dissolve it from my airbrush is acetone which is pretty darn bad for you too.

I love the two-tone scheme and how you faded the black in! Some nice details and weathering too!
