ok so i have no sprak

I parked my car and now i dont have sprak if its the crank sensor will it read a code if its broken? oh yeah its 1991 eagle talon tsi

I didn't get a code when mine was busticated, but then again that was on a 95.

ok so here the deal i i parked my car and went to start it and know i have no spark...i see that happens alot. So i used a volt metter and a light and jumped it into my dionastic tester and its not reading anything...the book says it should blink or swipe at least once if everything is ok but its not even doing that

Have you checked the connection at the battery? It may be a loose connection.

obvioudly thats the first thing we check, weve even changed the battery. Weve taken off the terminals and cleaned them the grounds are all clean and well conected we are think that it could be the ignition power transistor(we noticed it had yellow writing on it like it was from a junk yard) or the crank sensor. but its so expenice i want to know for sure
