Thansmission check light ON

I dont know why but usually in the morning when I start my 93 325is the transmission check light stays on but as soon as the engine warms up and I restart the car again the light is gone. The mechanic checked the level of my fluid and it all was fine.Do you guys have any idea why is that? Should I flush the fluid ?:rolleyes:
