i recently purchased an OBX header and front pipe and a magna flow high flow direct-fit cat. they both came the same day and i opened the boxes and examined the parts to find that the "HIGH FLOW DIRECT-FIT" cat from magnaflow is what seems to be a 2 inch flow through while the OBX header looks to be 2 1/2 inches. they both bolt together like the factory exhaust so my question is this....will this pose a problem with performance as well as installation? i can post pictures if u like.:banghead:

It's not gonna be noticeable....especially if you've got a 2.2, it's just gonna be alot louder

So your saying header and a Hi-flow cat wont increase HP?

no, it will, hes just saying it wont be a noticable difference if he looses power from the different pipe sizing.

the Hp gain won't be noticable either. Exhaust systems don't add hp, they just make it easier for the exhaust to flow out. I did a full header back exhaust on my former 2.2 and it felt the same IF NOT slower.
