These guys make a kit that allows you to use a cable actuated transmission in a car that originally had a hydraulically actuated transmission. Just to let you know the cable transmissions are weaker than the newer hydraulic transmissions

What's up nick (kaytec4door). Nick is my friend who did my 2nd B16 swap. He was asking the same thing that i was asking in my thread "is this possible???" His car is an automatic. And he wants to use a cable to actuate a hydraulic tranny. He thinks that there is a way to take a hyrdo tranny (like the gsr's Y80) and swap out a couple things like the shift fork and have it be a cable actuated trans. i haven't a clue if this is possible, and apparently neither did anyone else since no one really knew for sure that responded to my post.
