Ouch,

My initial suspission is that you are smelling something but maybe not coolant.
The fact that you are at half throttle to get the blazer to move first leaves me to suspect that your transmission is done and slippeng big time. This is a bigger symptom than the smell.

The engine light is consistant with the transmission sensor causing an error code. I would pull the codes and go from there. I would also be carefull that you do not do any more damage than there is already.

The smell may be burnt transmission fluid. If there is a pressure problem in the transmission you might get some fluid up the dip stick if it can get past the stick plug at the top. I'd check the level and condition of the fluid anyway. If the level is down topping it up likely won't help at this point ... work needs to be done by a pro.

I hate jumping to a solution immediately but the comment about half throttle just to move is pretty powerful statement. My bet is transmission until it can be rulled out. Thats where i would look first.

Need to determine why the electrical has a problem first. It starts fine and idles (?) then will not move or the engine runs roughly ??
Is that volt gauge reading about 14v or is it down around 9-10?
Did you check the coolant level in the radiator and reservior and is it really low?
Need more info to really help on this - get specific with details.
Hey - welcome!
