power coating

i was wondering are there any benefits to power coating a ho alternator. like would it keep it cooler stuff like that.

Just looks, like paul said. It isnt like ceramic coating where it would hold the heat in, its just powder paint thats baked on, it might help with corrosion. But most alternators are aluminum and that cant really corode it can oxidize and salt water is bad for it. But think of it ass chrome just not as shiny.
