Help with a big project.

Hello,
I had a few questions about a project im planning on starting. Im not sure if you are familiar with the crazy vans in japan. but heres a link to some pictures. http://vanning.hp.infoseek.co.jp/toukou/page01.htm
I moved to hawaii from Ginza around 2 years ago, and I want to make one here. But I dont know a single thing about fabrication or anything, but I really want to get into it.
So my questions are what do they use to make the wings on the top? Also about fabricating around the body, some vans in japan make there own bodykits. I just want to work on the outside for now, then work on the inside.
