sunfire misfiring

hey everyone, I have a 97 sunfire 2.2L and it will fire up fine, but after running for a few minutes it starts firing on only the outside 2 cylinders. I tried switching the wires to see if it were wire problems, but that wasnt it. When i took the plugs out, the inside two plugs were dry, but werent firing. Would a new distributor help, or is it a problem in the PCM or am I way off? any input would be great.
