Can't remove front wheel

On my 99 Dodge 1500 2 wheel dive. I was replacing the front brakes. Drivers side no Problem. The passenger side the rim is stuck on the hub. Any tips on how to get this off.

Put on some steel-toe boots and kick the shit out of it.

use your lug wrench or a pry bar to get behind the rim and push. It might break it loose if not then beat on it. I have seen this done on my dads Jeep before.

If you've got aluminum rims, pour hot water on the rim. If you've got steel rims, spray some wd-40 into where the wheel contacts the hub. If you've got magnesium rims, you're pretty much screwed. loosen the lugnuts a VERY small amount and drive around in a figure 8 until you hear a pop, then stop right away.

WD-40 or penetrating oil. put it all over the hub or spray through the lug nut holes. leave for half an hour, should do the trick. (spray lots)
once you've got it off, clean up the mating face on the disk/hub with a stiff wire brush to remove any corrosion, coat with a very thin layer of oil. should help prevent this happening again.

Usually a little wd 40 and a big hammer do the trick !
Rotate the wheel after each hammer strike if it dosent pop the first time.

a plastic mallet.
a hammer will damage the wheel. a plastic/wodd mallet gives the neccessary force, without damage.

if you haven't got it off yet? try using a big brass hammer inside the back of the wheel that is if it's got steel rims and alot of penatrading oil good luck....

a large hammer will damage the rim. the obvious choice is a plastic/wood mallet but if worse comes to worse and you gotta smack that thing with a small sledge just make shure you got a wood block between the the wheel and the end of that hammer

if you're hitting it hard you want to hit the bottom (not too hard) then rotate the wheel a quarter turn. hit it, rotate a quarter turn etc..
if you hit it too hard without rotating it after each blow, you could make the wheel "tilted" against the hub. where the angle jams the studs against the holes. this damages the threads (often they need to be re-cut, or the studs are replaced) and just causes more of a problem.
