do they make gauge faces that arent just stickers? i personally think that is pretty gay. it would be tight if there were just plastic replacements for the black faces themselves becasue i think white gauges look tight i jsut dont want to do some shitty rig up job and put stickers over my gauge faces.

Those are not stickers they are actully gauges that go inplace of the orignal gauges... You can tell because the gauge actully glows with the indiglo on. These are powered by the battery not a sticker with some glo shit on them. They glo green and bright blue almost white with a flick of a switch and a dial to adjust the brightness...

I had a set of reverse glo they burned out in a week so I got these instead (from same guy), he told me that the reverse are all short life. So I dont know but they looked hella sweet until they went out. No pic sorry did not have the camera at the time.

okay well I ordered my indiglo guages that said for 88-91 civic/crx! I got them and they don't fit. They have the screw holes in them so I think they are for the 88-89 and i need them for the 90-91 so where is the best place to order so i don't end up having the same problem?

Mine were DOA, and the company wouldn't give me a refund. Just be careful from who you buy from.

What are you going to do with those? I got a 88-91 cluster in my car and want to end up getting indiglo gauges

Well the only place I have found indiglo gauges is e-bay. The ones I have in the pics are 90-91s but it is a 88-89 gauge set. I had had problems with the first set so I just modified these to fit. Notice there are no screw holes for the gas, temp gauges and if you look close you can see there is a missing screw in the tach. But good old crazy glue helps hold them in before I put the cover on. The 88-89 gauge sets will not work on a 90-91 at all they are to small to fit the set up. So make sure if ya buy them off e-bay you e-mail the person to make sure they will fit the set you have.

Does anyone know where I can get the white face indiglo gauges for the 89 DX? The only DX gauges I've ever seen were the reverse glowing ones, and I can't even find them anymore.

I've not seen indeglo's for the DX cluster but I have seen plain white faces from http://fourgperformance.netfirms.com but I dont think they are doing gage faces anymore since they wont answer any of my emails.

Here's (http://www.evolutiontechnic.com/INDIGLO.asp#) a site that has them for $55.

I fucking hate how you have a seperate dial for them. why cant someone design them to wire into your factory dimmer?

EFsleeper,

I hated it also. I also had to mount the switch and the nob under the dash. So I got inventive, look the red arrow is where I put the dial and the switch. The green arrow is my ecu kill switch I incorperated it into my alarm so if the alarm goes off it kills the ecu power not just the starter. Cause with a starter kill if the car get broken into and hot wired they can still push start it. So this kills any power going to the ecu. hehe
the white wire you see I dont focken know damn got to go fix that shit. HONEY GET THE DUCT TAPE

How did you install them without breaking your gauge face needels? I really wanna know because i wanna get these, but i wanted them in RED, but they dont make em, so i am gonna get the Silver gauge faces with Reverse Indiglo. My friend has the reverse indiglo for a while now and they havent blown yet......

Its actually real easy to get the needles off without breaking them. Just use a flathead screw driver and slowly wedge it under there. they come straight off.

Cjz89civic

On getting the needles off you dont have to. The face plate with the indiglo gauge on them is flexable and the hole is big enough to put the needle thru. I actully pulled all the needles off and pull all the old face out. You dont have to do this but i choose to. Also if you put them on top of the old face plate you will need to pull the needles out a little so they dont rub the new face plate. Another thing I found that when putting the needles back on turn the car to the run position so all needles are at a zeroed or cold setting. On the fuel gauge make sure you have a full tank before pulling it all apart so you dont have to remember where the needle was at before. Just the way I did it....

I did the same thing, but on the little tab to the left of yours. :)

Also, has anyone seen the new gauges? They look pretty cool, IMO.
