Rendezvous air filter

Hello !
I tried to change the air filter on my Rendezvous, but after opening the box I am unable to remove the filter. The opening is not large enough. Can someone help ?

I did mine not too long ago. It's little bit o' work, you have to disconnect the air home to the intake to get enough room to get it out of there. Once I figured it out, it took me about 2 min's start to fininish.:banghead:

thanks a lot. What do you call the air home ? Is it the box that contains the air filter ?

An Embarassing typo. The Air Intake, the 3" "hose" that runs from the Air Filter housing to the top of the Intake. On my 02 there are 3 pieces, to stiff rubber pieces on either end and a metal "hose" in between with a slight curve. As with all moderen vehicles, everything is crammed in as tight as can be.
