I am seeing Cradle Of Filth on the 28th of feb. Has anyone here ever seen them live before? I just got into them during Nymphetomine. I have listened to their older stuff and it is good. I like the goth sound, and the opera syle singing that is used in some of their songs is pretty neat. I play guitar so I appreciate the ability to play such music. What are peoples thoughts of this band?

Here we go again, some band tries to be different and people hate them. I like some of their songs, but it's not for mixed company, know what I mean? Fav songs, Nyphetamine, Medusa and Hemlock. I don't usually like Death Metal but the singer does it high pitched while others do it low pitched. I like when the girl sings too.

I don't dislike them because they "try to be different", I dislike them because they sound like rubbish.

I like dimmu. its not the best black metal out there, but its good. just really mainstream.

Cradle is not "death metal". Dani said it himself. For those who don't know, Dani is the lead singer. They are black metal and have been around way longer than some would think. They are one of Europes top "metal" bands. If you actually read the lyrics of the songs and can appreciate how tough it is to play...you may have a different view of it. But until then, no one will understand it...unless you can come to a realisation and appreciate it for what its worth.

Too overprocessed for my liking.
