2.8 to 3.8? Maybe?

I have a 89 regal custom 2.8 and a 90 LeSabre 3.8. Yep you guessed it, I want to swap engines. I now the brain has to go with the 3.8. Will the axle fit into the 3.8 from the 2.8? Or maybe my first question should be 'Will it fit?' I'm hoping it does for the supercharger is next!! Could i take the front end of the LeSabre and use it? Thanks for the help!
