78 F250 Hub Replacement

My brother and I are picking up a 78 F250 for cheap. I have yet to see it but he says it has the hubs that are always engaged. To replace these can I just swap them out with a set of Warn hubs? What else would need to be done? Replace the bearings as well? Transfer case change? I haven't worked on a vehicle this old since my 77 Chevy in high school.
We're planning to rebuild the whole thing as funds and time permits except the transmission which his brother-in-law is completing right now.

Due to the time that has past since your posting I'm assuming that you have made some progress on this and are nearly done, or already done.
But anyway...
Whenever I buy a used car I just assume the worst and replace all the fluids, bearings, and grease seals. One car I bought the grease in the front bearings had turned gray and smelled rancid, the tranny fluid was turning brown and smelled burnt.
As far as the transfer case goes I would have it serviced by a 4x4 shop, they should be able to notice any internal problems with it and correct them. While you have the transfer case out replace all the u-Joints in the drive lines.
Not sure what to tell you about the hubs, that should be something that the 4x4 shop could advise you on.
