AEM Cold Air Bypass Valve

I want to put a bypass valve on my AEM air intake. There doesn't seem to be one for the Spec V, but I figure if I get the same diameter for the pipe, it should work, right? Anybody installed a bypass valve on their AEM Cold Air? Where does it go on the pipe? Will my idea work? And because I'm dumb, what is the diameter on the AEM Cold Air?

i saw some guy on a web page who installed the bypass valve between that MAF and the tubing near the battery. i will try to find that page for you again. i am not sure if it works though. if it does, i am sure aem wouldve thought of it
