let me know what you guys think, i have a '00 LX, and a buddy that had a old neon (1st gen.), said that to reduce the "rake" in the 2nd generation, was to install 1st gen springs in the rear of my car, i don't really want to lower the car, just "flatten"it out, apperently the old neon springs had a diferent spring rate, or where shorter, or whatever, but he swears this will work. any thoughts ??

If u put first gen springs on ur second gen it will lower the car. They did have a lower rate. I WOULDNT do it. What is it u want with the car? Smoother ride? what?

alls i'm looking at doing is lowering the rear of the car (seeing as it sits higher than the frt), i would like to leave the stock springs in the frt and just replace the rears so to give the frt and rear about the same ride height

I also have an issue with the ride height. I would like to bring the front and rear to even with each other. Suggestions?
