2002 Radio/disc Player Not Working

Out Of The Blue, My Radio/6 Dsic Cd Player Will Not Work At All. The LCD Display Shows Weird Symbols That Randomly Comes On And Off. None Of The Buttons Will Work. I Have Had This Car For 5 Years And No Indication Of A Problem. Took It To The Dealer And No Real Answer From Them. Can Anyone Help Out?
