94 Cruise Control light comes on and Car Dies

Please help,

I have a 94 concorde and when have been driving my car in the last weeks the car will sudenly die and the Cruise Control light comes on. The problem does happen at high speeds 45+, but will happen on only at slow speeds like in a parking lot or constant stop and go traffic.

Would anyone have any clues, what to check for this problem?

it may be a vacuum line that is trying to hold the throttle open at times just failing and closing the throttle on you causing the death. also check your throttle lines themselves and make sure they are tight with little slack, and check your vacuum hoses to to see if they havent come loose on any connectors.
