Hood Vents ...

I am considering the Series 1 Predator hoods (the one on the orange supra in Fast and Furious). With those large vents, would you have problems with driving in the rain? It just seems like water would get onto your engine and with enough rain, it would crack the valve cover or something. Is this a problem?
If so, anything I can do to get around the problem? Like make some metal flashing under the vents to direct it to the side?

I don't think water would hurt it too much, but if you get caught in those down pours that we get in washington then you might run into some trouble. I would suggest trying to rig some water deflecting system up before you get the hood on your car.
