Can't Find Hotshot

I can't find a fucking hotshot header for my spec v to save my life. I have been looking all over the place and the only place that had them wouldn't let me order because they were out of stock. Do they not want their product sold? Every search comes up with a POS DC sports header of crap like that. Does anyone know where I can find a hot shot header??? Don't say hotshot.com because they are out of stock. God forbid they would want to sell more hotshots then what they had in their fucking inventory 3 years ago...

dcsprts is almost as good and has a good sound, it makes more torque than any of the rest of them

I have been dead set on a hotshot for about two years now, lol. The DC looks okay, but I emailed hotshot and asked them why the hell they didn't have any product in stock and when they would have it again. I noticed an O2 bung on the DC, but I don't know if that is for the same sensor as the hotshot or not. Do you have to remove the alternator for all header installs in the spec v, or just the hot shot?

the alternator blocks one of the manifold bolts, you have to remove it on all installs, wait for what you want man

hot shot is basically dead. have you heard of SSAC? autochrome headers and exhausts from ebay? they bought the header design and exhaust design from hotshot. hotshot to my knowage is basically out of buisness.
the only way you'd grab a hotshot now is used basically. otherwise they sold their rights to ssac. many people on b15sentra.net have the ssac header, and have been running them for 3+ years. they say best investment ever. its like 150 shipped for a qr header. i know on sr20forums, i ordered my ssac header and 2.5' downpipe for 140 shipped. all high quality pieces, mandrel bent.
here is a picture of their quality, before you put it on. after it's installed, the header turns purple, but doesnt shed over your engine bay. its good for about 10 whp.

Won't i have to use header wrap, though? Without it being wrapped in ceramic, I would think it would get pretty hot... It doesn't really look anything like a hotshot, though. hmmm. But this is a good investment?

you can rub some chrome polish into the ssac header and it comes right back, you dont need ceramic coating unless your running a turbo setup that generates more heat, you could always replace your radiator with the koyo one if heat is a big deal, its like 160 i think

the oem replacement koyo is about 160. the 'performance one that is about 3x the thickness is like 400+ new, but it fits in the oem brackets.

lol. guys on the b15sentra board and sr20 board love it. no normal hotshot cracks. just buy through group buys, and its decently cheap. people have 3+ years on them. it works fine for eliminating the pre-cat on the header. i dont see the big deal about it anyway?

well just so you know ssac used to blow big donkey balls, but if what you say is true about them buying hotshots plans then i dont see why not

I should have it on within a few weeks. Shipping is going to take a while and then I have to find time to instal it. I'll let you guys know how it works out. I really don't see the problem with the part either.
