Summer Vacation Plans

I'm planning my summer vacation minus the kids. Just me for some relaxing "mom" time. I am leaning more towards Belize. Has anyone ever been to Belize say around July? Has anyone else starting planning their summer vacations yet?

I heard it's beautiful, inexpensive once you get there, and jungle and beach oriented. Sounds great!

No vacation plans yet, but I'll be switching jobs so may not go anywhere this year.

my mom and sister went there for her 21st birthday (both of my sisters and i get a trip somewhere in the world for our 21st birthday) and they loved it. they thought it was beautiful, the people were very charming, the jungle was amazing, etc. they went during some carnival but i don't remember what time of the year it was.

I'm buying a house so I don't know if me and the Mrs. will get to do a "vacation" this summer. But we're hoping to go back to the Outer Banks in NC for at least a long weekend.

I'll be in basic training. A fun summer vacation indeed.

I want to go to Croatia, but I doubt I'll have the money. And I'm kind of committed to my job for the summer because I left so long in December...

Some fine women in Belize, at least that's what I've been told.

We're doing aruba this july, went there 3 years ago and had a blast, but this time we are taking the kids and my brother and his family are going as well. Should be a good time.

I'm HOPING that i'll be in basic over the summer. if i'm not in basic i'll be in construction, which means that i won't have military funding for school but i'll be making a shitload of money during this summer. i just hope i have enough to fund my boat purchase.

Working at a quarry during most of summer vacation but I'll probably take a trip to Vegas and Colorado.

As it looks now, my summer plans are to have all the snow removed from my property,(I own 6 acres,) so that I can start mowing my lawn. (Yeah I'm in Syracuse where our snowfall 10 days ago was around 38" now it's over 100" for the season.)

i'm trying to emigrate accross the Atlantic.

well, probably going to Spain for a few weeks first.

Nothing yet, don't know how the job situation is going to be. I may be changing jobs in the middle of the summer.
