Hey guys i have a fiberglass back seat from my eclipse. and im trying to get a vr4. now heres my concern with the car being AWD and the car actually getting torque in the the rear (unlike my eclipse) would it be a bad idea to but my FB backseat in the VR4?
i guess i was just wondering how bad the body torques when u launch.
thanks for the help... ps the eclipse sold this week so hopefully i can start looking for my vr4.

there are plenty of VR4 owners that have sub boxes in their back seat. nothing to worry about. also, there isn't much torque transferred to the rear wheels as you might think. something around 40% or less. but if you're paranoid, then it wouldn't hurt to somehow secure the box so it won't move around.

well its not that im worried about putting a box back there. i was just worried because of it being fiberglass... but if there not that much torque then im sure it will be fine.

I wouldn't worry about the torque. I would be more worried about the box bouncing around and getting damaged.

i thought the torque difference was 45front and 55 rear

i keep seeing stealths and 3kgt's out on the rds by me, it makees me wanna get mine out and have some play time. i drove it the other day in the snow, it sucked, damn near spun taking a corner down a block.
as for the sub box or speaker box, fiberglass can crack easily, but if it was thick enuf, it'll b fine, more than 1/4" and it's safe. plus then the reinforcment behind, like boards if u use em.
