Please Help/91 Probe GL

1991 Probe GL 2.2L Non-turbo Automatic, while the car is in park it idles great, and it idles great in every-other gear but (drive & overdrive) if i go to shift from Park or Neutral to drive as soon as it go's into drive or overdrive the idle drops at the car stalls out. Also the car runs good once i get it running just only when i come to stops i got to put it into neutral or eles it will stall and i gotta give gas rite away to keep it running once i put it back into drive. Any help will be great.
