A-piller Gauges

I got a free full a-piller pod with 2 holes for gauges. I have a 97 Sierra and I was wondering what gauges should I put in it? If it was your truck which ones would u put in? I know I really don't need them, but it would look pretty sweet.

I have this gauge in mine. You will not need any other gauge. Its pricey but you can pretty much look at anything your truck is doing, and also view and clear codes.

Oh and I gotta say that I would reccomend the gauge I have to anyone. Its the best thing I put in my truck.

If you're just going strictly for looks and price, just get you a trans temp and an air/fuel ratio. Both are fairly inexpensive and the air/fuel will do a nice little light show for ya. :) The guage korndogg posted is probably the best out there for scanning everything, but as he said, it is pricey. Check out the autometer DPIC as well. It tells 1/4, hp, etc. I have an air/fuel and DPIC I'll be getting rid of soon. I had them both in the truck for a month, then went with a different autometer series.

I'm pretty sure I decided with the tranny temp gauge and air/fuel mixture. The only problem is, I rather have a professional hook them up. We don't have any speed shops that could hook them up. So I was wondering what kind of place should I look for. Could the dealership hook them up? An Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone?

Most likely neither of them will hook those up. They are very simple to hook up though. The air/fuel just taps off of one of your o2 sensor wires(don't know which one for your year model, but not hard to find out). As for the tranny temp, your tranny will have a small threaded pressure port on it somewhere(usually) that you can screw the tranny temp sender into to get a temp reading(the 4l60e has the small port just above the shift linkage on the tranny). Then all you have to do is throw power and grounds to both of them and you're in business.
