Honda Drifters anyone?

im a very big fan of japanese drift racing, and yes i do know hondas are generally front wheel drive, but it just seems to me that its no fair how all the nissans and rear wheel drive cars get all the glory in this subject. So im asking if anyone out there know or is a drift racer using a ff car? and please do tell me what kind of drift and how u go about performing it.

This creates a seemingly frictionless between the road and tire. Therefore the tire does not grip anything but the selected tray. Thus resulting in the backend of the car to sling around crazily as rally cars and drifters do in Japan.

hmm i never even knew those cars existed, could u guys give me a link to see the exact spec\s and where they were manufactured?

well i personally think hondas DO go with performance, its just that u see too many people souping up the family sedans like the accord or the civic that it just made people stereotype on the company itself.

well basically i believe that drifting is a way of turning so that the car is aligned correctly as it exits the turn.
but in order for u to exit the turn in a aligned position, u will have to slide the car premptively before the turn so that when the turn ends the car is in a straight position
generally this style of driving is used to show off ,takes quite a bit of skill, however if u use this in a real race, anyone can tell u Grip driving is definitely faster than drift. unless im mistaken.

i think drifting is sometimes a little faster than grip driving, say around a very sharp corner
iv seen some videos of drifting and the corners that they drift around they get around faster than they would if they where slowing down to take the corner safely

maybe just a U-turn drift might be a lil faster , but if u take the ideal line with grip on any racing course.. grip will mop the floors with drift techniques
