I have a feeling this may be a common question asked, but the analog clock on the dash has stopped working in my caprice, i can hear it trying to tick and i can see the seconds number wheel trying to move, but it still wont go. i probably have to take apart some of the front of the dash to get to it im geussing?

I like my '88. Instead of an analog clock between the two middle A/C registers, it's digital and is a part of the radio.
Yes, there should be two bolts you can get to in order to remove the clock, but you will have to take the dash pad off of the top - 4 bolts at the front (two in each defroster vent), one on each side and several underneath the side closest to you, underneath and vertically oriented. This really isn't difficult if you take your time and don't miss any screws! Once the screws are out, the dash pad simply pulls up and out - no speakers or anything else attached to it.

sounds simple, even though ill be getting a new sterio soon and ill just have a clock on there, i thought it would be cool to have the original clock running also to keep that retro look in the car.
