well guys i have been really thinking of converting my front end to an integra front end!!! but i really need to know exactly what i would need to do this and i mean everything. Should I just buy the integ front end and do the welding and all that or is there another option??

I highly recommend not doing it. If you search you can probably find a couple threads where this has been done and the end result looks like shit. Plus, the fitment is terrible. You'll regret it in the future and might even run into problems with the hood flying into your windsheild and killing you. I don't know what car you have now, but i guarantee you your OEM front is better.

Umm, I'm sorry but do i know you? I haven't the slightest clue as to what your car looks like and frankly, judging by your tastes, I really dont want to see it.

whats so rice about a putting a stock integra front end on a civic? ricer shit is huge spoilers, massive air dams, roof scoops, altezza's, projector headlights on a 15-20 year old car, toys on the dashboard and stuff like that. you are right about the exhaust though. i hate fart cans. in my opinion an exhaust should only be loud when you floor it. anyway i like front end, its different. BTW, would it be rice in he put a JDM integra front end on a civic?

thank you arodg25...im sick of seeing the same things over and over again on hondas..im just trying to be different and i hate driving around and running into someone with the same parts on their car as mine...i dont know about where the rest of you live but here in hartford there are tons of civic in almost every variety you could think of. BUt right now im stuck on wether to put the integra front end of the jdm civic front end...and im also stuck on the color rims i want.Right now i have some great light rims but im sick of the alloy look so now i wanna either paint them or get new ones..Believe me i do have great taste!!! and i also hate the huge exhaust... i agree with you on the only time it should be loud is when i fly by the competition!!!

Yes, it would be just as ricey for 2 reasons. 1 was already mentioned. The front end is a lot wider than the Civic's, and it hangs a lot lower than the rest of the car (regardless if it has a front lip on it or not). This is not appealing to the eye. And those pics don't show the problems all that well, hard to take good pics of detail with a white car. And #2, the JDM look has itself become rice. Everyone and their mom has jdm parts on their cars now. It use to be the thing that all the "cool" kids did to get completely away from the rice look. But look at some of the parts people put on their cars. JDM navigation systems, those stupid old or new driver badges, over priced performance parts (from Spoon Sports, Mugen, J's Racing, Tein), RHD conversions (not an actual RHD car, but just a conversion).
To sum things up. It's not going to look right now matter what you do. You can have the best fabricator in the world working on it and it still won't look right. It's going to be a lot of cutting and welding (front part of Integra fender and rear part of Civic fender), figuring out radiator supports; a lot of time and $. And what will happen when you finally realize how bad it looks (and you will, maybe not immediately but a few years from now you will)? You'll try to sell it, and NO ONE will pay for even half the amount of $ you put into it. Doing something that's different and doing something that shows your own personal taste is cool, and I think deep down everyone respects that. But don't rush into anything, especially when it will cost you a lot of $, because everyone's style changes with time. And you will get sick of looking at it after a while.

if you want a different front end, either 1 - buy a new car, or 2 - get some random headlights that look cool and flow with your car and customize that shit. i hope it's clear to you by now that the integra front end + civic back does not look good, it looks horrible. You don't want your car looking like everyone elses? get a car they dont have, or paint your hood pink :) hahaha

Who cares? If I want to put a little plastic turtle by my gauges then I'm going to. If somebody wants to say it's rice in my Jeep GC then they can lick a nut.

that car definately has no flow at all...particularly when you get the side view..the rounded features on the front and the square features on the back do not match. Not only that, you can tell there are some major gaps between were the fender and door joins. That car makes me rethink whether or not I actually like the look of the integra's at all, lol!

I hope that car get's totaled and the owner can never drive again, so as to protect any more innocent Hondas from becoming that. Wow, that is hideous.

that is your own opinion.
in my opinion it looks good because its somthing differnt. stock is not always better, it would depend on the individual. i like the lights on the back as well but if you can do the conversion without any problems then go ahead and do it. if there is problems (which im sure there is going to be) then you have to be prepared to work with it.
mabye gunitsolja doesnt want to look like all of the stock looking civics around...

It's absolutely just my opinion. If someone wants to do something to their car, they should do it regardless of what other people think. Everyone has their own sense of style. And rarely will 1 person's style be liked by the majority of people. Frankly it'd be boring as hell to see the same things on everyone's cars. That is also just my own personaly opinion.
