i have never seen them and heard it requires some mods. will it make a difference being that my bike is so heavy?

i'm sure you can fit them but it may be a case of hole saw through the fairing or a bracket to relocate it into a gap in the fairing.

then again, some parts are a pain in the butt for kawasaki's. my dads Z750 was hard to get some parts for based on the fact that kawasaki use different thread sizes. i tracked down frame sliders for him but took awhile. they bolted straight on because its a naked bike

pretty sure you can get frame sliders for a zx11...You could even try just buying the plastic slider for any model with a fairing and then just getting 2 longer engine mount bolts...it would be the same thing.

Some mid 90s and 80s bikes it's basically impossible to find frame sliders for unless you DIY or mod ones for newer bikes. I had a zx1000r and it was a PITA to find anything other than exhausts for lol.

Good luck, I love kawasakis :)

thank u gentlemen. klohiq, whats the reason for the longer bolts...i dont follow. and i would still have to drill holes in the fairings ...correct? my bike is heavy.. 636lbs wet...will sliders make a difference? i mean as far as protection if it goes down.

best getting the ones designed for your bike.

the designers have taken into account the weight but also points of attachment so you sacrfice the slider before the fairing and frame. no point putting any old slider on, thinking your all good and end up bending your frame on the first small drop

should say that i put them on my old 96 gixer. the guy after me dropped it at 80k's and it worked a treat. only damage was the bar ends and the three sliders (fork, frame, swingarm)

Thanks I Think They Will Work But I Am Awaiting Confirmation From The Manufacturer. Im Not Sure Of The Difference Between A Zzr And A Zx...they Look The Same.

down here the ZX is the ninja range and the ZZR is the "sports tourer" range.

yours looks like a ZZR to me but i'm not a kawasaki expert

actually i have a ninja zx-11 but from the link u sent me...the bikes look identical. the fairings and everything. i even went online and the reviews are all the same. every website i find shows both bikes under the same category and even specs. also the zx-11 1998 is considered a sports touring bike up here. im gonna follow that lead though and see if u may be right about the whole ninja and sports touring points.
