1990 buick lesabre shock issues

hey all you buick guru's whats up

ok to make this short and to the point ...everytime i get out of my car i get zapped....can't be from static....because its a zappppppppppp...you can actually see the flash at night........have any of you buick gurus know of any faulty wiring or anything or had this problem.

already checked the engine ground and doesn't seem to be frayed or corroded...this stuff is getting old...gotta be electrical

any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Let me guess... its still static..

Your wearing a polyester.

I have seen airplanes with static thingys hanging off them to remove it. So have you (jetMechanic?)

Since your zapping from yourself to the car, the car is either generating it or you are.

You can see static at night. If its anything else you would get a JOLT instead of a zap.

Perhaps a chain with something that will ground the car after a run and float away from the ground when air blows it to keep it from wearing out.
