99 door hinge pins

Has anyone changed the pins in the door hinge? mine has play and its getting harder to open the door and it is wearing on the latch pin.. If so how long did it take and could you give me some pointers?? Thanks.. I have the pins just worried about the spring!!

its a lil hard u need to get a spring tool to comress the spring in the jam of the door. once u get that out u need to get a pin kit. make sure it has the brass bushings cause that is what is wrong.support the door so u can punch the pins out. use a hammer and a punch and punch the pins out. then move the door a lil and punch the bushings out make sure u put the bushings in the same way and side u removed them then repeat the process and your doors back on.

had pins changed now the inside hanle has to be changed! it has a crack in it wich requires you to pull further than normal to open.. can rivits be changed for screws?
