Preparing for winter

I just got a 1994 Del Sol VTEC and I love it more than my girlfriend. Problem is I'm scared of what the winter may do. I live in New York and winters can go either way. I hooked up the car a little. I have 4 way adjustable shocks with springs lowering it 2" along with 17 inch rims with ultra high performance tires (I got the all weathers). I also have a RSR catback exaust and crossdrilled and slotted rotors with performance brake pads. I'm thinking that some of these mods may make the winter worse. Being so low to the ground doesn't help and drilled and sloted rotors sometimes don't do good in wet conditions. Any suggestions on how to keep it safe?

If nothing else - raise the car back up so you can clear the piled up slush.

You should also consider a different set of rims/tires for winter driving. It'll help with traction as well as proloning the life of your other set.

Lastly, don't let your girlfriend see this post ;)
