Couple of questions for you guys
1) How do you take chrome off of parts that came with the model, when I take them off the tree there is a black part and I have no idea how to remove the chrome, I looked in FAQ but didn't say anything.
2) This may just be me but does CSC not work well with black paint? I soaked a model in it and most came off except on the hood and the roof, after soaking almost 36 hours and scrubbing it still has parts that dont come off. Maybe my CSC is getting old.
Anyway thanks in advance!

For the first question, I think brake fluid or Easy-Off oven cleaner works, just on the oven cleaner make sure that it doesn't melt or damage plastic.

To remove the paint I usse isopropanol you can find it in a drugstore and I am sure that product does not harm the plastic.

I've found houshold bleach is great for taking chrome plate off kit parts in the past. It's very quick and works on even the thickest, crudiest (think old AMT) plating.

It may be that the CSC can't get under the paint. If there are any panel lines in those areas, try scribing through the paint...

It's regular Tamiya TS-14 paint, and I dont see any panel lines near it. I got it off, just sanded it :) only a small area it didnt get removed

Try the isopropanol, it worked for the TS-50, I sprayed my model with it but I did not realised that I sprayed a lot on the ground too and it is with isopropanol that I cleaned it. It was the man in the hobby store that gave me that tip.
